Adult Christian Education

Man and woman speaking outside

Adult Christian Education (ACE) aspires to offer programs featuring enlightening presentations and lively discussions. Programs are led by talented outside speakers, members of AHCC’s clergy, or knowledgeable church leaders. Many programs are focused on important and relevant issues that are discussed in an open and civil manner so that all voices can be heard and respected. Programs are offered on a variety of topics such as conversations about race and justice, climate change, and exploring other world religions. Bible study programs are spiritually engaging and probing. Our programs are open to people within our family of faith as well as anyone from the wider community who wishes to participate. Descriptions about specific programs are provided in the church’s weekly email, on our website calendar, and through announcements on Sunday mornings.

We are currently offering programs in a variety of formats including Zoom, in person, and a hybrid of the two. While registration is generally not required, it is recommended since you will often receive a reminder and any relevant materials in advance of the program.

Please visit the AHCC calendar for the dates, times, and links, and registration details for specific programs that are of interest to you. Many of our previous programs are available for viewing on our YouTube channel.

We are always open to your ideas about programming. If there is an issue or topic you would like to explore with this family of faith, please reach out to the church office at 860.525.5696.
