Deacons Meeting

AHCC is governed by a Board of Deacons, led by the church moderator and vice moderator. Deacons shape the direction to the future of the church, serve at church services, offer counsel to its officers and others, and share the leadership of the church with the ministers.

The Deacons generally meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6pm at the church, though exceptions are made for conflicting liturgical or churchwide events.

Meeting dates for the 2026-27 program year are:

Fall: 9/17, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10
Winter: 1/21, 2/11, 3/11
Spring: 4/8, 5/13, 6/10
Summer: no scheduled meetings
