Community Meal

Our Community Meal will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 26.

We invite you to provide pies (whole, ready to eat, not frozen) for us to slice up and serve to our neighbors during the noon meal. Thank you for supporting this important ministry!

Here are some ways to help at our Sunday Community Meal:

Bake and donate 1 or 2 dozen cookies
Package & bring to church on Sunday. Please pre-package one or two each in a sealed plastic bag to be included in the to-go box.

Donate shelf-stable items
Donations needed of shelf-stable items such as granola bars, juice boxes, individually packaged snacks (i.e. cheese crackers, pretzels, etc), applesauces, as well as bags of apples or oranges. We also need paper bags of any size. These items can be dropped off by 12:00noon on Sundays.

Help set-up and serve the meal
Please plan to be at the church until 1:30pm. Volunteers will help get tables set up and food packaged, as well as serve meals and clean up. If you can’t stay for the whole time, please come for whatever time you can!

Can’t make it on Sunday, but want to support this effort?
Each meal costs approximately $3.00 and we are planning on food for 200 each Sunday. That’s $500 for each event. If you can underwrite all or part of a meal, please click here to make a donation (min. $10.00). Thank you!
