The Annual Campaign
What is the Annual Campaign?
AHCC has a Stewardship Committee, composed of member volunteers, that oversees all the planning and communications related to our giving, especially our annual campaign, and is chartered with helping the AHCC community cultivate and develop the spiritual practice of generosity. The Stewardship Committee conveys the impact of our gifts through messages of appreciation, education and inspiration. They work closely with the Administration and Finance Committee to prayerfully and responsibly make the best decisions on how to use the resources to which we have been entrusted.
AHCC’s fiscal and program year run from July 1 – June 30, so in April and May, prior to staff and clergy planning the programs, events, and worship services for the year, the Annual Campaign educates members and friends of the church about the financial health of the organization and sets a budget for how to reach our goals for the coming year. The gifts raised through the campaign comprise approximately two thirds of the annual budget.
