We are so glad you’re here. Visitors come to AHCC for many reasons – the beautiful sanctuary, uplifting music, inspirational sermons, a sense of belonging – and find a friendly atmosphere of welcome and acceptance. You are invited to explore this vibrant faith community online or in person.

We hope the information here will help you find your way when you visit.

What are the services like?

You can expect to be warmly welcomed at Asylum Hill Congregational Church. Sunday worship services are held at 10am via livestream and in person. Though there is a liturgical structure to Sunday worship, no two services are ever the same! Many Sundays feature community leaders, guest ministers, and special arts offerings, but every Sunday offers beautiful, spirit-filled music, and insightful preaching.

How do I get there and where do I park?

Asylum Hill Congregational Church is located at 814 Asylum Ave in Hartford. The church has a large brownstone steeple and vibrant blue doors. Click here to get directions to AHCC. The church parking lot is on the east side of the building where there is ample guarded parking, as well as additional guarded parking in The Hartford’s lots just across Sumner Street.

Where do my kids go?

On Sunday mornings, we are happy to offer a supervised space for infants/toddlers and Pre-K children. Please ask an usher for more information.

Elementary and Middle School Youth are invited to participate in the Early Life Ministries Sunday School program, held in the Chapel beginning at 10am. Please bring your young person to the blue doors of the Chapel on Asylum Avenue before worship begins.

What do I wear?

No matter your personal style, you’ll be comfortable here. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit.
