To afford more singers a chance to participate in worship leadership, the music ministry offers a series of "drop-in" choirs with limited rehearsal commitment. In most cases, these ensembles rehearse after worship on three Sundays in advance of a special worship service.
The All-Church Choir is an open-call opportunity for all singers (men, women and youth) to join the Sanctuary Choir for a "massive" musical experience. The All-Church Choir participates in worship once or twice a season.
Youth Choir (high school and middle school) is a seasonal choir for young people that gathers before Christmas and Easter to prepare music for worship. By featuring these young musicians close to the holidays, college and boarding school students home for vacation can participate. Rehearsals are held in the weeks leading up to performances, usually Sundays after church or Sunday evenings before Youth Group.
The Women's Choir and Men's Choir rehearse and perform for selected services in the spring. Rehearsals are usually in the weeks leading up to appearances in worship. The Men’s Choir traditionally meets for a combined pizza dinner and rehearsal with lots of music making and fellowship in preparation for singing on Mother’s Day.
