The excitement of the Boar’s Head Festival is building! As a church family, we are coming together in many ways to consider and discuss what this church means to us and how we envision its future. And one of the ways to celebrate our love of AHCC and each other is by sharing the Boar’s Head experience.
If you’re interested in participating in a costumed role or behind the scenes, Cast Sign-up is October 1, from 9:00am - 12:00 noon in McKeith Hall (the choir room). There will be signs posted leading the way. New cast members are always welcome! If you can’t make it on this date, but want to be considered for the costumed cast, there is a way, but you must act quickly. Notify Cast and Costume Co-chair Kathy Valade at firstname.lastname@example.org or 860.978.1457 no later than October 1 so that arrangements can be made for you to sign up if there are openings in the cast.
If you’re interested in attending the Festival, tickets go on sale November 5 for AHCC members and November 6 to the general public. Tickets will also be on sale on Sunday, November 12 in the church office beginning at 10:00am.
Patron tickets are available to Boar’s Head donors for some of the best seats in the house. No standing in line! Just pick up a donor form at the Member Engagement table in Drew Hall, or download and print a form on AHCC’s web site at Music & Arts/Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival.
The Festival is featured in a new photography book, A Connecticut Christmas. The book (and tickets!) make great Christmas presents as our Festival is featured beautifully. The photographer and author of the book, Caryn Davis, will be at AHCC for a book signing on November 5 from 10:00am to noon. The price of the book is $20, a special discount for AHCC members.
