As we look forward to the upcoming year, there is s sense of excitement about the new and inspiring opportunities our ministry team and leadership are planning – programs, events, and ministries that will continue to lead AHCC as a place to grow in faith, promote justice in our community, and be a force of love and light.

On Mother’s Day Sunday, May 9, we will gather again as a church family in our beautiful sanctuary. Some of you have asked, “Why May?” There are two reasons for this. First, the beautiful, much-needed renovation of the sanctuary floor will be done at the end of April.

Thank you all for answering our call and making this morning’s Clean Slate Press Conference a powerful call for justice- the very important work we are doing cannot happen without you. We are equally grateful to our partners, CONECT and ACLU, for all of their work to make today a success.

Spirit Hill Lessons Resume Outdoors on May 9 and again on May 23, June 6 & 13 during the 9:30am in-person sanctuary worship services. Children in preschool - grade 5 will gather on the playground for a short lesson, games, and activities.

The Youth Department will be in-person for our new theme of "Love inspires..." The dates below are the ongoing youth group gatherings on our church campus. Special activities and service projects off campus will be announced individually as dates/times are finalized.

All events will include social distancing, masks, and sanitizer precautions.

Eastertide is defined as the 50 days between Easter Sunday and Pentecost Sunday and is traditionally marked by the re-telling of the Gospel’s post-Resurrection stories; Jesus showing up [often unexpectedly] in the world and in the lives of his disciples.
