This concert features the World Premiere of An American Requiem, written by CONCORA bass section member, Edward Tyler. This emotionally charged work with text drawn from both the traditional Roman Catholic Requiem Mass, as well as poetry by the composer, reflects on the school gun violence epidemic in America. This concert is presented in partnership with CONCORA’s Music with a Mission series.
