Levo (pronounced Leh-vo) is Latin for “To Lift Up.” Levo was founded as a social enterprise whose mission is to empower people to end poverty. They work to fulfill this mission using simplified hydroponics as a way to create opportunity, promote sustainability, and get healthy food into the hands of those who need it most. Levo’s ambition is nothing less than to restructure the broken systems that cause poverty around the world!

Levo is rooted in values that speak to our shared humanity and Christian faith: that every person has inherent dignity and worth; that we’re all part of a larger community and have a responsibility to care for one another; and that we must work together to build a more just, sustainable world for people and the planet.
