Faith and Generosity Workshop

“On The Way,” is a three-part series about what it means to live in the way of Jesus. Our first set of conversations will focus on faith and generosity. 

In these 75 minute workshops we will consider:

• Whose world do we live in? Do we live in a world centered on money or centered on God?
• The nature of faith. Is faith about belief or is faith about trust? What might this mean for our lives?
• Putting faith into practice. Is life about contentment and the pursuit of happiness, or are we called to lives of meaning and significance?

There will be several overarching themes, including where do we find real security? Sessions will include small group conversations.

These sessions will be led by Charlie Kuchenbrod. Charlie describes himself as a resettled refugee from the corporate world, who worked for almost twenty years for the Connecticut and Southern New England Conferences. Charlie considers himself to be an evangelist for generosity. Several AHCC leaders have attended his workshops, and he spoke to great effect at our Legacy Society luncheon in October 2020.  Charlie comments that he intends to be provocative but not confrontational and hopes to create a safe space for faith exploration.
