Pride Event – One Man Show “Communion”

All are welcome to a special performance of the one-man show, “Communion” by Matthew LaBanca. Based on his real life story, Communion is about a gay Catholic music teacher who marries the man he loves, and is fired by the church – upending his faith and unsettling his entire community. Exploring themes of delusion, spiritual trauma, and hope, the performance reminding those who would use religion to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people that the most basic tenet of a spiritual life is that we are called to love one another.
