Lenten Chamber Music Series

A series of four concerts during the month of March presenting opportunities to reflect and be refreshed during the Lenten season.
Tickets for each event will be available at the door for $10.

March 5: FINGER LAKES GUITAR QUARTET
The Finger Lakes Guitar Quartet is the assemblage of four accomplished guitar soloists, Joel Brown, Brett Grigsby, Sten Isachsen, and Paul Quigley whom have performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. The FLGQ presents exciting, eclectic programming spanning five centuries, including original arrangements, as well as works commissioned, and premiered by the FLGQ.

March 12:  WORTHINGTON TRIO
Join us for an afternoon of inspiring Chamber Music with David Bradley, pianist, Lisa Kugelman, violinist, and Kathy Schiano, cellist. This piano trio has been performing together for over ten years throughout New England.

March 19: JACK ANTHONY POTT, tenor
Featuring the song cycle “The Life of Christ” by Roland Hayes, AHCC’s own Director of Music, Jack Pott, will share songs for our Lenten journey as well as some musical favorites including songs in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

March 26:  MUSIC FOR ORGAN AND CELLO: Susan Carroll, organ and Kathy Schiano, cello
In honor of Women’s History Month, this program will feature selections by women composers Fanny Mendelssohn, Margaretha de Jong, Jeanne Demessieux, and Emma Lou Diemer as well as works by Bach and Duruflé.
