A collective of composer/performers who have united to create and present original, socially conscious jazz, charter members Kris Allen (alto saxophone), Noah Baerman (piano), and Chris Dingman (vibraphone) will be joined by Ike Sturm (bass) and Allan Mednard (drums) for a program of new material that addresses the topic of health care. This event is produced in conjunction with Resonant Motion, Inc. and the Inner Arts Initiative.

All ticket proceeds will go to benefit The Malta House of Care: a mobile medical clinic providing high-quality, free, primary health care to uninsured adults in Greater Hartford, always with compassion and respect. Each week, the big, white Malta van visits several neighborhoods–two in Hartford and one in East Hartford–to provide physicals, testing, immunizations, medications, health coaching, and more. Malta is a walk-in clinic; patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. This service is made possible by an incredible corps of volunteer doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals who contribute about 1,000 hours of free medical care each year.

General admission tickets $20, available in advance or at the door.
Student tickets $10 with valid Student ID at the door only (cash or check)
Age 18 and under are FREE
