2010 Women's Retreat


Discovering the Spirit … in the Ordinary Corners of our World 

The weekend of January 22-24 the AHCC Women's Spirituality and Fellowship Committee sponsored its Annual Retreat at the Incarnation Center in Ivoryton CT.  It was a wonderful weekend retreat in which 28 women attended.

Throughout the weekend we shared together in worship, fellowship, exploration, exercise, music and good food in an atmosphere that was warm and inviting.

Our retreat leaders (Ms. Kelly Colbert and Rev. Erin Dunigan) helped us have a new awareness of our selves as well as our bodies and also helped us to the world around us differently by expanding our expectations of the ways in which the Divine "shows up" all around us in our every day lives.  It was a retreat which was challenging and fun.
