Founded in 1860, as the Dashaway Club, the Boys & Girls Clubs are proud of their long and illustrious history of offering youth development and program/services.  For over 145 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford have been the leading-edge provider of services to young people from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford have made it possible for thousands of Hartford's children to develop into positive, productive and caring adults.
