Transgender Day of Remembrance Service
In-person and Livestream.
Every year on November 20, people around the world gather to honor and remember the lives of trans and gender-diverse people who have been murdered in the past year. TDoR seeks to highlight the losses we experience due to anti-transgender violence. It is important for us to acknowledge their names and their lives as a testament to how far we still have to go in creating a world free of oppression and bigotry.
Join AHCC as we come together to honor the lives lost to transphobia with a time of prayer, music, lighting of candles and the public reading of their names. This event is in partnership with the AHCC High School Youth Group.
