What are the services like?

In worship we remember who we are and whose we are. Worship is the time and place to find comfort and courage, the time to deepen commitment, the time to give thanks. It is a time of praise and prayer and a time to hear the word of God from scripture and preaching.

 

 

 

On Sundays at 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. we offer a worship service in our beautiful historic sanctuary. The Sanctuary Choir and organ, along with the ordained clergy and liturgists lead the service.

We also worship every Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel. These services are more informal and offer a variety of worship styles. Many people enjoy our Saturday worship as an alternative or an addition to their Sunday worship.

AHCC ordinarily celebrates Holy Communion the first weekend of each month. All are invited to participate with us in this sacrament.
