The one-room space that formerly housed the entire shop is now used only for men and women’s apparel. Shoes, handbags, jewelry, and all accessories are also located here.
A new doorway takes you to an adjacent room which houses children’s clothing, toys, and books.
The room across the hall now features all housewares: bedding, draperies, towels, table linens, dishes, glassware, utensils, and small appliances.
Special requests can be made directly to the shop or to Fredd Ward, our staff liaison at AHCC (525-5696 or ward@ahcc.org) With this service we hope to directly match those in need of items that cannot be stored in the shop, with a willing donor. (chests, beds, TV’s, larger appliances, etc)
Hours of Operation:
Fridays 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
First Saturday of each month 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon
First and third Sundays (after church) 11:15 – 12:30
The success of the shop and the profits that directly support opportunities for families in the Asylum Hill neighborhood depend largely on the donations from our AHCC membership. Please keep us in mind when you have items that could use a new home.
For the security of your donations, and if you would like a tax-exempt form, please donate using the schedule of our open hours. If you need special assistance or a different drop-off time, please call 521-2311 and leave a message. We will be happy to help you.
