Dale Allen, a veteran actress and playwright, who has earned acclaim for her ability to connect with the psyche of her audiences through humor, character portrayals, song, history, myth, art and artifacts, will bring her talent to AHCC on February 10 at 7:00 p.m.  

Let’s go experience the sites and sounds of NYC - see the sites, have lunch, take in a matinee performance of the new musical, Memphis, have dinner, and return to church.

During our next Spirit Hill worship, the children will learn about the work of Church World Service.  

For Christians, of course, Valentine’s Day is every day. Our faith, from the very beginning, proclaimed that “God is love,” and that “God so loved the world …” that the greatest of all the commandments is “to love God and to love one another.” In a world where there is much hostility, these are comforting and challenging words of our faith. 

To be Christian do you need to believe in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God? Do you have to believe that Christianity is the only way to salvation? Do you have to believe as historical fact all that you read in the Bible and the early creeds? Can you seriously hold to the Christian tradition in the light of modern science, historical scholarship, and religious pluralism? Is there a clear “Christian Way” to guide us through life?
